Mathemusical Conversations in Singapore

If you missed the Mathemusical Conversations international workshop, a three-day celebration of mathematics and music convened in Singapore in february, catch the lectures, performances, and panel discussions on video online.

Mathemusical Conversations is the first workshop in Asia focussing on music and mathematics. Unlike the usual academic conference, Mathemusical Conversations was designed for the mathematically and musically curious who may not be experts in the mathemusical fields. The workshop is also unique in its integration of mathemusical theory and performance/composition practice, sporting six plenary sessions and six performance events.Program co-chair was  Elaine Chew and Gerard Assayag, and concerts co-creator Bernard Lanskey. The workshop was generously supported by the NUS Institute for Mathematical Sciences and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. Organisation : NUS, STCM, QMUL, STMS (Ircam, CNRS, UPMC)
